The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is conducting a study examining speech perception. Participants will complete a speech perception task, a brief measure of vocabulary knowledge, and a brief survey about beliefs and attitudes about variation in speech.
We are looking for native North American English speakers between the ages of 18 and 45, without a history of speech, language, or hearing disorders, to participate. Participation will involve one, one-hour session, and will take place in 170 Anderson Hall. Participants will be tested in individual carrels in a large research laboratory.
Compensation of $10.00 is offered.
