Spanish Vocational Group

Under the direction of Dr. Kathryn Kohnert and participating graduate students, our department offers a vocational Spanish conversation group for any students, faculty, or other professionals who wish to augment their comfort and competence in conducting clinical tasks en español! These sessions provide all participants with an opportunity to practice and improve their Spanish skills focusing on topics that are relevant to speech, language, and hearing specialists. Both disorder groups (e.g., fluency, voice, receptive language) and trial diagnostics and treatment tasks are discussed and practiced, using correct Spanish terms and usage.
