The graduate programs in the Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences offer students the opportunity to pursue a wide variety of academic, clinical and research interests in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Speech-Language Hearing Sciences, while preparing you for careers in hospitals, schools, clinics, other academic settings and more. The department is distinguished by its commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and clinical education. Our faculty are active in research and are scholars with national and international reputations. Many of our faculty have received awards for their outstanding teaching and research skills.
The department is complemented by strong ties to departments in related fields such as psychology, child development, special education, rehabilitation, and the medical sciences. Admission is granted for each fall semester for the Master's and Doctor of Audiology degrees. The deadline for admission for Fall semester 2013 is January 7, 2013. Admission to the Ph.D. program is continuous, but applicants must apply by January 7, 2013 to be considered for funding priority.
